Banana Pudding Cheesecake

Banana Pudding Cheesecake

This viral Banana pudding cheesecake has spent the last couple of weeks ranking on Tiktok and it was a dish I had to make, since I’m such a sucker for cheesecake. Any kind, anywhere, I’m there. It’s really one of the best desserts ever created and sometimes I just can’t really understand what some people may not like about it. Anyway, this one is for all my cheesecake lovers out there.

A delicious dessert that has two of my favorite pastimes, cheesecake which we already covered and banana pudding. And once the combination of these decadent confections touches your lips, you’ll be singing I’m in heaven. Surprisingly, it’s not that sweet and it’s robust with flavor and that’s how we like it. I mostly followed the Butternut Bakery’s recipe with just a few tweaks of my own. Hope you enjoy it and here is the recipe.

Ingredients:

Cheesecake Crust:

2 Cups of ground nilla wafers

1/2 cup of melted butter

2 tablespoons of sugar

Pinch of Salt

Cheesecake Mixture:

4 Blocks of Cream Cheese

1 cup of Granulated Sugar

1/3 cup of sour cream

Roasted Bananas

3 Eggs

2 Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract

Pudding:

I/2 package of Jello Instant Vanilla Pudding- follow instructions on box

Whipped Cream:

2 Cups of Heavy Cream

1/2 cup of Powdered Sugar

1 tsp of Pure Vanilla Extract

How to make:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl add ground nilla wafers, sugar and melted butter. Mix and pour in a parchment lined 9in round pan. Bake for 10 minutes.

Mix cream cheese in bowl, mix in roasted bananas, mix in sour cream, sugar, vanilla extract and eggs last. Pour the batter in the cooled nilla wafer crust. Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour. Let it cool for 30 minutes.

In a small bowl make the jello vanilla pudding and follow the directions on the box. Refrigerate.

To make the whip cream, add the heavy cream, sugar and vanilla extract. Mix on medium for five minutes or until small peaks form.

After the cheesecake has cooled- add a layer of sliced bananas on top of cheesecake, add a layer of the vanilla pudding and then add freshly whipped cream. Crumble some Nilla wafers on top and ready to serve!

I made only a few minor alterations to the recipe but for the most part this banana pudding cheesecake is delicious and a must try!
