What makes Westchester so charming and visit worthy? The secret is the county’s coffee shops that you’ll want to frequent more than once. 

Here is a list I put together that everyone should visit for a good cup of joe.

Slave To The Grind- Located in the quaint town of Bronxville, this coffee house is the meet up place for all the locals and the Sarah Lawrence students. Slave to the grind has been a staple in bronxville for over 25 years and it looks like it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. With a long menu of iced coffees and other delicious designer drinks, you won’t want to miss this spot. 58 Pondfield Rd, Bronxville.

The Standard Bean- This cool and new coffee shop has been added to the new standard building just last year and it’s bringing some major coffee flavor and competition to New Rochelle. Hidden and tucked away in the corner of the new standard highrise- this is a coffee shop to visit to get your coffee fix. 48 Lecount Pl, New Rochelle.

Peekskill Coffee- This coffee spot time travels you right back into the 90’s, as soon as you walk in. From the workers, the decor and just about everything else has you greeting one of the best decades like you never left. Well equipped with delicious coffee, gluten free treats and the best crepes you’ll ever try, you’ll want to go back in time for this one. 101 S. Division St, Peekskill NY.

Coffee Lab Roasters- If you’re coming to visit this infamous river town, it might want to start first by grabbing a delicious cappuccino at the Lab Roasters. A staple in Tarrytown for many years, with a long line out the door and also the best and most impressive coffee art you’ll ever see, Coming in for the fall festivities, you’ll definitely want to hit up this place first. 7 Main St, Tarrytown NY.

The Laughing Horse- With such a playful and delightful name for a coffee place, the owners are just as nice and welcoming. Harrison has recently opened up this little gem of a hang out, which has the perfect space to chill and drink delicious coffee while you're working or just looking to catch up with friends.  6 Purdy St, Harrison NY.

Caffe Ammi Roasting Co.- Tucked away on a side street in Pelham, here is a place that comes highly recommended. Caffe Ammi makes an impressive cup of coffee that every coffee aficionado will appreciate. With their very own tasting room, only reserved for private functions and delicious croissant sandwiches, A place worth seeing to believe. 109 6th St, Pelham NY.

The Climbing Wolf- A very cool coffee spot on the corner of a bustling street in Dobbs Ferry, this coffeehouse opened its doors last years. With an assortment of loose leaf tea and beers on tap, whatever you’re thirsty for, they have it here. 78 Main St, Dobbs Ferry Ny.

The Black Cow Coffee- The Black Cow Coffee is known for one thing and yes, you got it, It’s the coffee that everyone loves here. Always a line out the door in its Pleasantville location, luckily they have a second spot in Croton- on- Hudson that you can visit. 7 Wheeler Ave, Pleasantville NY and 4 Old Post Rd. First Village Coffee- Love the vibe in First Village Coffee in Ossining, has a chill and welcoming feel with locals, friendly staff, outdoor sitting and lots of delicious treats to accompany your coffee. 123 Main Street, Ossining NY.


Mimi’s Coffee House- The perfect coffee house hangout, plenty of seating with a solid menu of wraps and sandwiches. And apparently there is a Ryan Reynolds latte that everyone gets there too. Definitely worth a trip to try! 37 S. Moger Ave, Mt. Kisco.

Espresso Cafeto- This bustling Colombian coffee house has been the talk of Larchmont since it opened its doors in 2019. Always stocked with homemade South American delicacies and delicious Colombian coffee. Be prepared that you most likely won’t find a free table to sit at. 1252 West Boston Post Rd, Larchmont NY.
